The Camas Garden is a new botanical garden being developed in conjunction with the Native Plant Nursery. The Camas Garden will be a living collection of flowering plants native to the Pacific Northwest, emphasizing native species and varieties of Camassia spp., Calochortus spp., and other members of the Lily Family.

The Camas Garden was initiated in honor of Ellen and Roscoe Watson who pursued a lifetime passion for native lilies and helped found the living plant collection.
When fully developed, the Camas Garden will be open for public display during select periods. The first limited public display may be offered in spring, 2004. Contact the WSU Native Plant & Landscape Restoration Nursery for more details or if you would like to help establish and support this new garden project at WSU.
